Natural Smokey Eye Makeup for SCHOOL!

So today, I want to share my most favorite makeup look that I have been sporting for this past Summer and I will definitely be wearing this look for an everyday school appropriate makeup. I just love this look because it looks almost effortless and it doesn't look too much for school.

Its a really simple look that takes about 10 minutes and for this look, I am NOT using any foundation or blush because I find that its not really necessary to wear foundation/blush everyday for school but if you need to use it, by all means, do so but other then that, lets get STARTED!!

BASICS!!!
(From Left to Right) Clean&Clear Dual Action Moisturizer. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles, Almay Wakeup Powder, EOS lip balm Strawberry Sorbet
So first step before doing anything, MOISTURIZE YOUR FACE! It's a great way to hydrate the face before applying makeup because:
-it creates a nice thin layer on the skin so that we don't have any flakiness or skin peeling
-when you sleep, you tend to sweat so by the time you wake up, your skin is a bit dry
So here I am using Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer that is oil free, which is great! After applying moisturizer, I like to apply some lip balm, so I use EOS lip balm in Strawberry Sorbet.

OK TIME FOR MAKEUP!
1) Conceal your dark circles,  imperfections, acne scars, etc. Dot the area and then DAB the concealer with your ring finger, NOT SMOOTHING IT OUT because this will create wrinkles and fine lines around the eye area.(here I'm using Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circles in #40 Honey Miel).

2) Set your concealer with powder. Lightly brush it in areas that you place concealer at because this will help the concealer not get into the creases of your skin and let it stay put. (I am using Alway Wake Up Hydrating Makeup in #40 Neutral)
Milani Shadow Eyez in #03 Champagne Toast(Top)

3) Use a eye primer(a inexpensive one is Elf Eyelid Primer), or in this case, a cream pencil in a shade of a light beige or cream color all over lids. Right below is the area that you need to put it on. (I am using Milani Shadow Eyez in #03 Champagne Toast)

4) Next I will use a light pinkish-cream pastel eyeshadow and use my ring finger to spread this color from the inner corners of my eyes to the mid-eyelid. (I am using Maybelline ExpertWear eyeshadow duo Chic Naturals in 65D Dusk *the light pink one)

5) Then use the light soft brown for the outer corner of the eye and use a brush to create a sideways "V" shape to create dimension and a soft smokey eye. Then using your fingers or fluffy blending brush to lightly brush the harsh outer edges of the look so that it looks natural. (*the brown color of the mini palette)

6) After that, apply some eyeliner(I'm using Maybelline Master Precise in Black). Then a soft brown eyeliner for my bottom and I'm only lining it halfway(I'm using Styli-Style Line & Seal 24 Twist in #174 Topaz).

7) After that, apply your favorite mascara to your top and bottom lashes. I'm using three because my lashes suck butt so I like using The Falsies first for volume, then illegal length for length. Then I use Flirt! for my bottom lashes.
(From L-R)Maybelline Illegal Length, Maybelline The Falsies, Flirt!Far Out Lengthening
8) Apply your lip color choice, be it lipstick or lip gloss or maybe a lip tint, but I would go for a subtle lip color that looks natural. I won't be wearing any lip colors because I just prefer lip balm for this look.

DONE!!
Alright! So this look was a pretty simple look that easy to achieve. If you have any questions or comments, please do so below.

Eventually I will upload a video tutorial on this look but until then, please bear with me.

Thank you so much and until next time, have fun with this look!
